John’s interest in photography began with shooting and developing medium and 35mm format during his early teens, and quickly developed into a promising career. Following his move from Reston, Va. to Hilton Head Island, in 1989, John's portfolio expanded to include wedding, commercial, lifestyle and portrait clients throughout the country.

More recently, his published works for widely recognized national publications Town & Country and I Do, as well as local books and magazines, comprised aerial and lifestyle images throughout the Hawaiian Islands, Virgin Islands, Bahamas and South Carolina’s Lowcountry.

John is as passionate about photography as he is about the subjects he photographs.
